Haven’t posted in a while, but the April TCGG LAN event was a success! We had twelve players show up and everyone had a great time. We will have pictures soon!

Sadly, the next event will be in June because I am not able to be at the May event, so it will not happen. There will be no May TCGG LAN. We are growing steadily and raised over $50 to put towards the ministry at the April TCGG event. Thanks for everyone who came, help setup and a special thanks to the chaperones.

We are once again trying to find the best way to schedule the TCGG LAN events. The LAN Party Info page has been updated.

TCGG is testing out a new schedule of gaming, play Halo 3 or CoD 4 whenever you want. Halo 3 and RockBand will be played at a set time on the projector 360. Please be patient with us as we try this out and give any feedback you would like, it is much appreciated.

We are revving up for this month’s LAN party and while we haven’t posted fliers like last time, there will hopefully be an announcement at Martinsburg High School this week. As we usually do, we will be sending invites out by word of mouth, email and XBL messages. We will be posting photos from the LAN parties on the website soon and will be refining our registration and sign-in process.

Last month’s LAN party was a huge success and we had 16 gamers there, including myself. Thanks to everyone who helped out! I greatly look forward to this coming friday, and I hope to see you there!

The third map in the legendary map pack has just been announced a few hours ago and it is called “Blackout”. It is a fully night time map which is a reincarnation of Lockout.

Blackout will be released on April 15th with the accompanying Ghost Town and Avalanche. This is three days before our April TCGG LAN, so make sure to download these maps if you would like to play them at the LAN. Also, the Heroic Map Pack is now free and these maps will also be played at the LAN.

Also, new CoD 4 maps are going to be released on April 3rd/4th. w00t! These will also be played at the April TCGG LAN.
