LAN Party Info

The Christian Gamers Group hosts LAN parties every 3rd Friday of the month from 6:00pm to midnight at Destiny Baptist Church. We play Halo 3, Call of Duty 4 and RockBand for Xbox 360. Check out some pictures on Flickr here!

There are a few rules to follow at TCGG LAN parties:

  1. No cussing
  2. Respect other attendees and party hosts
  3. No hacking/glitching
  4. Have fun!

If someone is not able to follow the rules, they will be confronted and then removed without hesitation.

Schedule

Right now, TCGG LANs are held with an open style play schedule. We only stop playing for the 20 minute message at 9PM. Please be patient with us as we try this out and give any feedback you would like, it is much appreciated.

What to bring:

  • $5
  • Xbox 360 Console w/ peripherals
  • Television
  • Power Strip
  • 10 foot or longer ethernet cable
  • Game Discs

No need to bring RockBand equipment! TCGG will have already arranged the RockBand equipment, songs and such. All you have to do is sit down and rock! Remember to be careful with the controllers, they are not cheap.

The $5 from every attendee is put forward mostly to pizza and drinks and the rest is put back into the ministry to buy more equipment (consoles, power + networking cables, etc).

What NOT to bring:

  • Drugs or Alcohol
  • Real life weapons (virtual ones are OK)
  • Bad attitude

Registration

Registration for the monthly TCGG LAN is not required, but is much appreciated. Two ways of registration are available, you can either email “TheChristianGamersGroup@gmail.com” with your name, gamertag and phone number OR send a message to the gamertag “TCGG” with your name and phone number. Also make sure to include what event you are registering for. Multiple attendant registration on a single email or message is allowed.

We will under no circumstances share any of your personal information with anyone other than the TCGG members who are organizing the LAN party.
